The Exterminating Angel is one of the few Mexican films in the Criterion Collection and The Lady Vanishes is an early Hitchcock film (1938). Both films suffered from what I believe were slow starts. The other thing is that sometimes you’re just not in the mood for a...

Also, I got a hotel right next to a Quizno’s, so I couldn’t pass up that opportunity. Considering that I don’t gamble or drink heavily or frequent houses of prostitution, I’m sure...

Criterion update
I watched The Spy Who Came In From The Cold (#452) the other night. Excellent spy film based on the book of the same name by John Le Carre, who wrote Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Dear drivers
Please don’t turn your car in front of me and then stop. I will punch your car. On the same hand, bikers, don’t do things that you know piss off drivers (unless they deserve it by doing things like pulling in front of you). Let’s all share the road together.

Gay Marriage is coming to Washington State! →
Residents of Washington State - beware! You will soon discover what it’s like to find your state in total upheaval, just as those in Massachusetts found out a few years ago when they allowed gay marriage. Oh wait, nevermind.
